It's Official

I never new what it would feel like to be an Aunt. I kinda thought it wouldn't change me as a person. I knew I would love my little nephew but I didn't realize how much. After waiting 2.5 days for my sister to have her little man I finally got the word. He was born! He is healthy! I cried, seeing my amazing brother in law get emotional seeing his baby for the first time. I grabbed my girls, ran to the elevator down the nursery and stared in awe at this little baby boy.... my Nephew. He is sooo tiny and SO cute. After visiting the window of the nursery I finally got to visit with my sister who was resting from her C-Section and she looked so beautiful. I am so happy for her to have finally got the bundle of joy she has always wanted. I can't wait to visit them soon!

You know, checking out diapers and window shopping for just the right style, brand, look and price. Come on, I really hope I am not alone in that.. lol. Anyway, Kissed by the Moon really struck me because she has the most awesome deals.

I love working with Tollytots, I find that all of their dolls are such a great quality. The faces on them are so adorable and the styling is perfect. My daughter loves that most of her Tollytot dolls can trade shoes. I was thrilled to receive the latest Disney Princess Toddler doll that is being released on 9/12/11. Snow White, she is so beautiful. The picture doesn't even show how pretty she really is. Each doll is 14' with the shoes, dress and tiara that come off. My 14 month old was just so excited to get to hold her, I had to tell the girls to share this doll because they both wanted to play with her. I need to get the entire collection because Mulan, who is being released this month as well is just as precious.

I first came across ecomom when I was looking for an online store that had a wide selection of eco friendly items for everyone in my family, not just baby. Over-Indulgence

As I was digging through my little kindergartners bag today, I found a letter from the counselor to all the parents. They are introducing Character Education each month
and will talk about different character traits to encourage awareness and understanding of each trait. In this letter it provides some very valuable information, while be it not new information, still great information to have handy for daily reminders. I felt so compelled by this letter I thought I would share it with you.

The definition of 'over-indulgence' when referring to children is
1) Having access to too many things
2) Being allowed to make decisions too early in their lives
And 3) Getting too much permission OR too little permission for child's developmental age.
