When I think of Cube Steak, I think of chewy. Not anymore. This recipe will change your idea of what cube steak can be!
4 Cube Steak's
1 Can Stewed Tomato's
1/2 Can of Beef Consomme (I think it has more flavor) OR 1/2 Can Beef Broth
1 TBS Worcestershire Sauce
Salt & Pepper to taste
Place Cube Steak in crock pot *Doesn't matter if frozen or thawed just fit in the pot
Pour Stewed Tomato's and Beef Consomme OR Broth over top, Pour Worcestershire Sauce in, sprinkle Salt and Pepper over top.
I like to cook things low and slow, so I put it on at 11AM and cooked until 6PM. My favorite thing about the crock pot is that I can put a tough piece of meat in it like cube steak and it can turn out SO incredibly tender that it is more than fork tender and so very flavorful. Even a person that says "I can't cook" can use a crock pot! Just know that since all the juices are contained in the cooking process, you won't need as much salt.
