Eager for The Hunger Games

I know The Hunger Games has blown up over the past few weeks, and I gotta say, I am hooked. I had been looking for a book to keep my attention and this trilogy was the one. Suzanne Collins is a genius, from the first few pages, I couldn't put it down. I was enthralled in characters and couldn't wait until I could read more. After a week, I read all 3 books, each book getting more and more detailed about each character what they were going through. I gotta say, I miss reading it, almost wish I would have paced myself. Now, I am waiting on pins and needles, hoping the movie will do this story justice.

Have you read it? Will you read it? Do you think the movie will do this trilogy justice?

What district would you be in??
I would be in either 2 or 11... not sure how I feel about that.

The Hunger games has made me think. I would not be able to survive in the districts let alone the games. Would you?

I haven't read it yet, my husband just bought the set and read the first book in a night! He said it's great so now I just need to find the time with my one year old running around! We probably won't see the movie for a while, I'm sure it will be good but not the same as the books, they never are.
I'd be in district 12, coal, I don't know if I like that much...
You read the whole series fast!

I really want to read the trilogy...just need to find the time! Much less time to read now that I have a child! I want to read them before I see the movie too! So I probably won't watch the movie for sometime.

I'm still trying to finish the third book of the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo trilogy!

I have my book waiting for me! I just need to start... though I must admit I don't know if I'll want to watch the movie.

All of my friends have recommended this book to me and ever since seeing the previews for the movie, I am really wanting to read it. It seems really intriguing!

I've read these several times. Probably read The Hunger Games half a dozen times. Eager for but simultaneously dreading the movie. My last reading was a couple months ago, so it won't be too fresh in my head, but I know that, try as they might, movie makers won't be able to capture the characters (and probably not even the true horror of the books). My remote town has a little theater that won't get the movie for a few more weeks yet (we don't know when exactly); I just hope I don't hear what everyone else thought about it before I get a chance to see it!
