Grape Kool-Aid Play-Dough! Perfect for Spring Time!

Back in November I posted my pumpkin play-dough recipe and ever since my 6 year old has been begging that we make more, so, I thought spring colors would be fun. The recipes is very similar, except this one calls for a package of Kool-Aid, any flavor really, we love grape so that's what we picked.
What you will need:
1 cup flour
1/2 cup salt
1 tsp cooking oil
1 tsp cream of tarter
1 cup water
1 package of Kool-Aid (Any Flavor)

Measure ingredients into saucepan and stir together well before heating. Over medium heat stir dough constantly until it forms a ball. When it starts to pull away from the sides somewhat and clump together it is ready to dump onto a cutting board or the counter. (NOTE: have some extra flour on hand to use during this process) Knead dough into a ball, using extra flour to firm up if feeling sticky.

This is what it should look like when its done in the pan. See how shiny it is? and how formed it is.
It happens really fast so stand by the pan, with a spatula or spoon constantly stirring.
Put about a tsp of flour on the board so you can mix into the dough allowing it to stop from being tacky/sticky feeling.
Get the kids involved, my girls loved preparing the warm dough.
My youngest, who turned 21 months old today, pressing her fingers through the dough.
 her "Beautiful" bracelet.
My 6 year old wanted me to share this picture of her "dog", she wanted you to see his face....  :)
This is such a very quick and easy thing to make with the kids. Get playful, make many different colors. I had all but the cream of tarter in my cabinet anyway, so, once I bought it I use it strictly for the play-dough. I guess I have no reason to make a fresh batch every few months now.
