HearthSong Scuttlebug Review & Giveaway!

I love getting the HearthSong catalogs in the mail, they always offer so many different unique items. I was excited to be able to shop their website and pick an item for a review AND giveaway! So, I picked the Scuttlebug, with spring coming up, I knew this would be the perfect indoor/outdoor toy for my 20 month old. With our weather being crazy hot one day and cold the next, the Scuttlebug has stayed indoors. Little did I know when I received this toy, that my 6 year old would take it over. She loves it, she is just above the weight restrictions, but I can not get her off of it. She flies through the house as fast as she can with her little sister chasing after her.

This toy has zero assembling required, I pulled it out of the box, folded out the legs and that was it. There is absolutely nothing better than a toy, that easy to put together and is so very well made. This toy is light weight and folds down to be able to fit into any car or closet space.

To fold the front wheel in, simply pull this button down and fold the wheel in, it locks into place by gently pushing the handle bar down and it locks into place. 

It took my youngest a few days of watching her "sissy" ride around the house with the Scuttlebug before she felt comfortable, now she is riding through the house, just not as fast. 

The coaster style wheels allow it to glide easily over carpet and hardwood floors. We love the Scuttlebug at our house, I wish they made one a little bigger so I could justify my oldest being on it.
