Why I really, really, really want to go to Brandcation

I was so excited to receive an email the other day about a HUGE blogger opportunity. Mom Dot, Life With Levi and Toni from Just Stop Screaming are making it possible for a fellow blogger to go to Brandcation. This is a huge opportunity for a blog like mine. I have not yet been able to go to any of the blogger events and I am completely ready to not only meet these amazing bloggers, but to soak in all of the knowledge and information they are able to share with me.

So, HERE is why I really, really want to win.

I recently got my girls and I out of a very serious domestic violence issue between the father of my children and myself. The thing that most gave me courage to stand up for the rights of my girls and I, was starting my blog. Before my blog I was constantly being put down and told that I was an idiot and not able to achieve anything. To his dismay, I am creative, brilliantly funny at times and very capable of talking with big and small companies which has led me to be able to start the review and giveaway process. All by myself! While it did take me a few months to finally kick him to the curb and get into treatment to be a healthy me for my girls and I. I did it! I do believe that the creativity and ability to communicate with others through my blog allowed me to realize some of my strengths. 

Being chosen to go to this event would mean everything to me. It would be almost a nudge in the right direction with someone saying "Hey, YOU are good! and you deserve to go." After all of the intense drama in my life, this mama needs a 3 day vacation, meeting some awesome new friends having nothing but fun and talking blogger talk.

 I would even be willing to sleep on the bunk or the futon if you chose me! 

P.S. I am a great cook

I love to clean

I shower daily (so, I don't smell :) 

I don't snore

I love laughing (but not too loud as that may be annoying to some..) 

I am open and willing to learn from others

I can keep a good secret

I am always open for a great adventure

I don't like to complain about things
